Gemifloxacin and Trovafloxacin: A Comparative Analysis of Anti-Staphylococcal Effects
Staphylococcus aureus is a common bacterium that can cause a range of infections. This study compares the antimicrobial effects of two fluoroquinolones, gemifloxacin and trovafloxacin, against S. aureus, focusing on their pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties.
The researchers used an in vitro dynamic model to simulate the pharmacokinetic profiles of these drugs.
