Overview

Essential thrombocythemia (ET) is a myeloproliferative neoplasm associated with an increased risk of vascular events. Common cutaneous manifestations include itching, erythromelalgia, and livedo reticularis. While treatment with hydroxycarbamide, interferon-alfa, and anagrelide can be associated with skin lesions, anagrelide has the fewest reported dermatologic effects.
