Overview

This study investigated the effects of ranolazine (RAN) and amiodarone (AMIO) on right atrial tachycardia (AT) in rabbit hearts. RAN did not abolish AT, but prolonged its cycle length. The combination of RAN and AMIO further increased AT cycle length and promoted spontaneous termination of the arrhythmia.
