Overview

Treatment-requiring retinopathy of prematurity (TR-ROP) was associated with an increased risk of neurodevelopmental impairment in very-low-birth-weight infants (VLBWIs) compared to those with no ROP. The type of ROP treatment (anti-VEGF or laser therapy) did not affect neurodevelopmental impairment in the TR-ROP group.
