Overview

Ribociclib is a CDK 4/6 inhibitor used to treat breast cancer. However, it can cause hepatotoxicity, which is a serious side effect. In this case, the patient experienced grade 3 hepatotoxicity after receiving ribociclib and had to stop treatment. After switching to palbociclib, a different CDK 4/6 inhibitor, the patient's liver function returned to normal.
