Overview

In a study of 240 patients, ketoprofen at doses of 100mg and 50mg was superior to acetaminophen, oxycodone, and placebo for pain relief. The 100mg dose provided longer-lasting pain relief than the 50mg dose. Ketoprofen was well-tolerated with fewer side effects than the combination of acetaminophen and oxycodone.

Ketoprofen: A Viable Option for Postoperative Pain Management
