Overview

Silodosin, a new alpha-1 blocker, is highly effective for lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It improved IPSS and QOL scores significantly, with 77.5% of patients reporting subjective improvement.
