Pycnogenol®: A Potential Adjunct to Hepatitis C Treatment
Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection can lead to serious liver disease, including cirrhosis and liver cancer. This study investigates the antiviral effects of Pycnogenol®, a natural extract from French maritime pine bark, on HCV replication.
The researchers evaluated the effects of Pycnogenol® on both wild-type and protease inhibitor-resistant HCV replicon cells.
