Overview

This study compared the clinical effectiveness of available therapies for treatment-naïve, symptomatic chronic lymphocytic leukemia. The study found that in younger/fit patients, fludarabine with cyclophosphamide and rituximab (FCR) had the highest potential to prevent CLL progression. In older/unfit patients, chlorambucil with obinutuzumab (GClb) demonstrated the longest projected progression-free survival and had the highest potential for increasing overall survival.
