This Phase 3 trial assessed the effect of ixekizumab on fingernail psoriasis. Ixekizumab treatment significantly improved fingernail psoriasis compared to placebo and etanercept at Week 12, with greater than 80% mean per cent NAPSI improvement at Week 60 regardless of initial treatment. Complete resolution of fingernail psoriasis was achieved in 19.7% of patients receiving ixekizumab every 4 weeks and 17.5% receiving ixekizumab every 2 weeks at Week 12. By Week 60, over 50% of patients achieved complete resolution.
