Overview

RimabotulinumtoxinB (RIMA) injections were well tolerated and significantly reduced sialorrhea in adults with troublesome sialorrhea secondary to any disorder or cause. Both doses of RIMA (2500 U and 3500 U) significantly reduced unstimulated salivary flow rate and improved clinical global impression of change scores compared to placebo. The most common adverse events were dry mouth, dysphagia, and dental caries.
