Overview

In a study of 156 hospitalized cardiology patients in Benin, 93% had potential drug-drug interactions (pDDIs). 40 of the 804 pDDIs were observed clinically, with the most common observed interactions leading to low blood pressure, hyponatremia, hemorrhage, hyperkalemia, and nephrotoxicity.
