Overview

Meloxicam is a medication that may help cats with degenerative joint disease. Previous studies suggest that it may also slow the progression of kidney disease and increase survival in cats. This study will investigate the effects of low-dose meloxicam (0.02 mg/kg/day) on the kidneys of cats with chronic kidney disease over a period of 6 months.
