Overview

Leuprolide acetate is a drug that is used to treat various conditions, including prostate cancer, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids. While generally safe, leuprolide can cause rare side effects, including prolonged QT intervals and a potentially life-threatening heart rhythm called torsades de pointes.
