Overview

Data mining is increasingly used to extract useful information from patient data. This study built a classification model to predict ARV regimen for HIV patients. The model was based on parameters like age, weight, CD4 count, and regimen history. The investigation showed that the total accuracy was more than 60%, and that data mining can be used to predict patient regimen based on salient affecting factors with 96.1% precision achieved.
