Overview

Xiaoxinbi formula plus metoprolol, metoprolol, mavacamten, and N-acetylcysteine (NAC) were found to be the most effective treatments for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) in adults. This network meta-analysis of 7 studies evaluating 7 medications showed that these treatments significantly reduced the resting left ventricular outflow tract gradient (LVOTG) compared to placebo, with no significant differences in the incidence of adverse drug reactions.
