Tolnaftate spray treatment during pregnancy.

Overview

Tolnaftate is an antifungal agent that has not been studied for its teratogenic effects in humans. A case-control study in Hungary found that 4 out of 13 cases of congenital cardiovascular malformations had mothers who used tolnaftate spray during pregnancy.
