Overview

Rapid-cycling (RC) bipolar disorder is associated with significant health problems and often responds poorly to existing treatments. This study is the first controlled trial to compare the immediate and long-term effects of olanzapine in patients with RC bipolar disorder and those with non-RC bipolar disorder.
