Overview

Triclabendazole, a medication typically used for liver fluke infections in livestock, is effective in treating human fascioliasis. In a case report, a patient with fascioliasis was successfully treated with two doses of 900mg triclabendazole, after failing treatment with other antiparasitic drugs like praziquantel, mebendazole, and albendazole. No side effects were observed.
