Overview

Cannabidiol (CBD) may partially normalize alterations in parahippocampal, striatal, and midbrain function associated with the clinical high risk (CHR) state for psychosis. In a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of 33 CHR participants, CBD led to brain activation levels that were intermediate to those in the placebo and control groups.
