Overview

Glaucoma is a leading cause of blindness that gradually causes loss of side vision and, in later stages, central vision. High eye pressure is the main risk factor for glaucoma. Minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) is a new type of surgery for glaucoma. While these procedures are being used, it is not clear how effective they are at eliminating the need for eye drops and how they affect other outcomes.
