Overview

An observational study of 50 pediatric patients with non-bullous impetigo found that topical ozenoxacin 1% cream was effective in treating the infection. All patients experienced a reduction in Skin Infection Rating Scale (SIRS) score > 10% after 72 hours of treatment, with a complete reduction after 5 days. Microbiological success rates were 92% after 72 hours and 100% after 5 days. These findings suggest that ozenoxacin is a promising new treatment option for pediatric impetigo.
