Overview

Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) conjugate vaccine is highly immunogenic and safe in Taiwanese children. 100% of infants who received two doses of the vaccine developed anti-Hib polyribosylribitol phosphate (PRP) antibody titers above 0.15 microgram/mL. The most common side effects were low-grade fever and local discomfort.
