TREAT: A Computerized Decision Support System for Optimizing Antibiotic Treatment
Antibiotic resistance is a growing global health threat, emphasizing the need for judicious antibiotic use. This study investigates the effectiveness of TREAT, a computerized decision support system for antibiotic treatment, in improving antibiotic prescribing practices and reducing antibiotic costs. The study involved a prospective cohort study and a cluster randomized trial conducted in three hospitals in Israel, Germany, and Italy.
