Overview

S-etodolac extended release tablets were found to be as effective and safe as etodolac extended release tablets in the treatment of osteoarthritis in Indian patients. Both treatments showed significant improvement in pain, stiffness, and physical function, as measured by the WOMAC score and VAS pain score, with no significant difference between groups. Adverse events were few and no serious adverse events were reported.
