Overview

Liver transplantation (LT) was a viable treatment option for pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) with hepatic metastases. In a systematic review of 20 studies involving 89 patients, LT was associated with a 5-year survival rate of 44%. Age greater than or equal to 55 years and simultaneous LT-pancreatic resection were predictors of worse survival.
