Overview

Long-term use of smokeless tobacco (ST) increases the risk of oral and throat cancer, heart attacks, and strokes. While varenicline has been shown to help Swedish smokeless tobacco users quit, this study investigates whether it can also help people quit smokeless tobacco in the Midwestern United States.
