SUNCT & SUNA: A Desert of Treatment Options

The world of headaches is a vast desert with many different types of pain. Short-lasting unilateral neuralgiform headache attacks with conjunctival injection and tearing (SUNCT) and short-lasting unilateral neuralgiform headache attacks with cranial autonomic symptoms (SUNA) are two particularly enigmatic and challenging conditions to treat.
