Counterfeit and illicit drugs marketed to enhance sexual performance often contain phosphodiesterase type-5 inhibitors (PDE-5is) and their analogues. This study screened 181 such drugs and found PDE-5is in 156 samples, with 49.4% containing two or more components. Overdosing and combined administration can lead to adverse effects and even death.
