Overview

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a potential treatment for cannabis use disorder, a major public health issue. This study investigated the effect of CBD on plasma anandamide levels in individuals with cannabis use disorder attempting cessation. After 28 days, 800 mg CBD/day led to a significant difference in anandamide levels compared to placebo, while 400 mg CBD/day did not.
