Cefixime in Pediatrics: A Promising Antibiotic for Children
This study investigates the pharmacokinetics and therapeutic effectiveness of cefixime, an antibiotic, in children with infections. The study involved a pharmacokinetic study of cefixime in a child after oral administration of single doses of 1.5 mg and 6.0 mg per kg body weight, followed by a clinical trial involving 19 children with various infections.
