Overview

A mixture of oxantel-pyrantel pamoate was effective in treating Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura and hookworm infections in primary school children. The cure rate for ascariasis was 93.7% and the egg reduction rate was 98.2%. Side effects were mild and did not cause any anxiety.
