Yiqi Huoxue prescription, in combination with conventional Western medicine, significantly improved renal function and reduced blood glucose and lipid levels in patients with diabetic nephropathy. The treatment resulted in a lower urine microalbumin excretion rate (-33.94), serum creatinine (-7.43), blood urea nitrogen (-1.23), fasting blood glucose (-0.43), glycosylated hemoglobin (-0.38), triglycerides (-0.44), and serum total cholesterol (-0.37). The experimental group also showed a higher effectiveness rate (3.81). The included literature had a low bias risk.
