Major Research Findings

Celecoxib, a COX-2 inhibitor, is used for treating arthritis and pain, but it has been associated with various side effects. The paper 23 found that celecoxib can cause side effects in the gastrointestinal and cardiovascular systems, leading to limited use. Additionally, the paper 7 demonstrated that celecoxib is effective for treating arthritis, but it also reported risks of side effects such as gastric ulcers.
