Major research findings

Nadolol is a beta-blocker that has been shown to be effective in treating a variety of conditions, including chronic simple glaucoma ( 26 ), hypertension ( 2 ), migraine ( 8 ), and esophageal variceal bleeding ( 16 ). However, there are some reported side effects associated with its use.

Nadolol's side effects are due to its action as a beta-blocker, affecting various tissues like the heart, blood vessels, and airways. This can lead to side effects such as a slower heart rate, constricted blood vessels, and narrowed airways.

Common side effects

Acne-like dermatitis
