Moreover, 17 reported that a pramoxine-containing lotion provided significant itch relief within a single day of use. These effects are likely attributed to pramoxine's ability to reduce skin inflammation and block itch-inducing nerve signals. However, several studies, including , , , 7 , 2 , and , have indicated a potential for allergic reactions to pramoxine.
