Thiotepa is a chemotherapy drug that has been studied for its potential to treat various types of cancer, including leukemia and ovarian cancer. Some studies suggest that Thiotepa can inhibit the growth of cancer cells, leading to tumor shrinkage or disappearance. 3 , 6 , 7 However, Thiotepa can also cause side effects, particularly bone marrow suppression, nausea, vomiting, and hair loss. 12 , 4 When combined with other chemotherapy drugs, Thiotepa might enhance its effectiveness. 6 Thiotepa is not only used to treat cancer but also other medical conditions. 13
