Major Research Findings

Floxuridine is a fluoropyrimidine derivative used in the treatment of malignant tumors. This paper evaluated the efficacy and safety of floxuridine alone or in combination with radiation therapy in a multi-institutional trial. 10 . Floxuridine is also used in the treatment of colorectal cancer with liver metastasis, and it has been shown that the effect is more effective in combination with radiation therapy than single administration. 23 . In addition, floxuridine has been shown to be effective in the treatment of advanced breast cancer and ovarian cancer, and some studies have also investigated the effectiveness of combination therapy with floxuridine and other drugs. 21 25 8 6 5 .
